THE EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCH
Discover below unique facts about The Eastern Orthodox Church
About
The Eastern Orthodox Church is considered the oldest Christian tradition in the world, tracing its roots directly back to the apostles and the early Church. It is the mother of all Christian Churches, remaining the same since its founding. It is the dominant religion in Greece, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, and many other countries. The countless number of its saints and the extraordinary miracles they work at every age, while in life and after their passing, as well as their revelations about the current and future events in the world, impress countless faithful and make atheists and non-believers change their views or become skeptical.
Preserving the teachings of the Ecumenical Councils and the richness of Holy Tradition, Orthodoxy offers a living connection to the faith of the early Christians. Its worship is centered on the Divine Liturgy, a deeply reverent and mystical service that draws believers into communion with God. The Church continues to uphold the apostolic faith, guided by the Holy Spirit, through the sacraments, prayer, and the lives of its saints.
Orthodoxy is not just a theology but a way of life. It is deeply incarnational, emphasizing the transformation of the whole person through union with Christ. The beauty of its liturgy, the fasting seasons, the veneration of icons, and the teachings of the Church Fathers all point toward a single goal: theosis, or participation in the divine nature. Across centuries and cultures, the Eastern Orthodox Church has remained steadfast in preserving the fullness of the Christian faith, offering spiritual clarity in an age of confusion.
This website is a personal labor of love, born from a profound gratitude for the miracles I have experienced worked by recent and older Orthodox saints. Their intercessions have touched my life in ways that have made me a better and happier person and drawn me into an authentic relationship with Christ and His Church. I created this site to share the beauty, truth, and mystery of Eastern Orthodoxy with others who are seeking or curious, and to offer a space for reflection, learning, and inspiration from the Church’s living tradition.

About me
My journey in life began on September 10, 1972, on the beautiful island of Chios in Greece. The second boy of a traditional Greek family, I was raised with the best values a kid could have for a successful life. From my early years, I enjoyed sports and realized that the Exercise & Health field was my passion.
I am a Physical Education teacher and Personal Trainer with work experience in Greece and New York. My love for more knowledge led me to New York to seize the wonderful world of opportunities that this unique metropolis offers. I worked there for 14 years.
The knowledge and experience I gained in the Exercise and Health field have made me healthier and better. Countless study hours have paid off, teaching me to appreciate health and life. I have started offering everyone that knowledge, those precious secrets, and those values.
In this section of my website, I am sharing valuable information about the Eastern Orthodox Church as a “thanks” to the numerous miracles many saints have worked in my life. I was a believer when I was younger, but my faith was just a tradition and not a true faith. My encounter with St. Paisios changed my life. I realized that saints are not part of a fairytale that older people tell the kids, but a reality. I read about other recent saints’ lives in Greece and other countries, and their miracles amazed me. I then started experiencing the presence of some saints in my life with true and indisputable miracles. My life changed for the better, and keeps changing… I’m not sure if I want to share with everyone the miracles I have experienced at this time, but if I feel ready for that, you will know it on this website. For now, among other valuable information, I am sharing miracles that other faithful have experienced to inspire faith, hope, and happiness.
My best advice regarding Christianity is to make a saint your best friend, talk to him, and ask for help when needed. Everything else will come naturally, and life will become a worthwhile journey with meaning.
Warmly,
Kosmas Bogiatzis
