What is better than having good balance and walk, run, or stand without feeling a bit drunk? Βalance is essential in every aspect of your life, and what mostly affects it is your Strength, Flexibility, but also the way your muscular and neural system cooperate (motor coordination).

Weak and stiff muscles tend to obey you less when giving them orders to do a particular activity or just move. Those who do not exercise regularly always experience more balance issues, but sadly balance decreases in all people while they grow older. The more you grow older, the more you should exercise to eliminate injuries from falls due to decreased balance.

Include at least 1 exercise that improves specifically your balance in every workout. If you are a senior or elder, you should definitely increase those exercises, and never trade your strength and flexibility exercises for more cardio training. The right combination of strength, flexibility, and particular balance exercises guarantee the least loss of balance while you grow older. That translates to fewer falls and injuries, some of which may be very serious.

Never perform challenging balance exercises without a steady surface to hold on or someone to help you. Although balance training is valuable, if it is done without caution, it may lead you to falls and injuries itself. Always start with the easiest variation and progress slowly only when you improve.
